📝 Instructions

10 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan generously with butter or nonstick cooking spray.

2

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of the unsalted butter. Stir in the brown sugar and honey until smooth and bubbling, about 1-2 minutes. Pour this caramel mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan, then sprinkle with the chopped pecans.

3

In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together. Set aside.

4

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into four rectangular pieces. Pinch the perforations on each piece to seal them and create a smooth sheet of dough.

5

Brush the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter over the surface of the dough. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough sheets.

6

Roll each sheet of dough tightly from the short side to form a log. Slice each log crosswise into 4 equal pieces, creating 16 small buns.

7

Arrange the buns cut-side down in the pan on top of the caramel and pecans, leaving a little space between each bun to allow for expansion as they bake.

8

Bake the sticky buns in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the caramel is bubbling at the edges.

9

Remove the pan from the oven and let the buns cool for 5 minutes. Place a large plate or serving platter over the pan and carefully invert the sticky buns onto the plate. Be cautious of the hot caramel!

10

Serve warm and enjoy the gooey, sticky goodness!
