Brew 240 ml of strong coffee using your preferred method. Allow it to cool to room temperature or refrigerate it until it's cold.
Take a tall glass and fill it with 8 pieces of ice cubes.
Pour the cooled coffee over the ice in the glass, filling about three-quarters full.
Add 120 ml of milk to the glass. Use your choice of milk (whole, skim, almond, etc.) depending on your preference.
