πŸ“ Instructions

9 steps
1

Wash the orange, lemon, green apple, and strawberries thoroughly under cold water.

2

Slice the orange and lemon into thin rounds, leaving the peel on. Core and dice the green apple into small cubes. Hull and cut the strawberries into halves or quarters, depending on their size.

3

In a large pitcher, combine the orange slices, lemon slices, diced green apple, and strawberries.

4

Sprinkle the granulated sugar over the fruit and gently stir to coat the fruit evenly. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow the sugar to draw out the fruit juices.

5

Add the red wine, orange juice, brandy, and cinnamon stick to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.

6

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or up to 24 hours) to allow the flavors to meld together.

7

Just before serving, remove the pitcher from the refrigerator and discard the cinnamon stick. Add the lemon-lime soda and gently stir to mix.

8

Fill serving glasses halfway with ice cubes and pour the sangria over the ice. Make sure to include some of the macerated fruit in each glass.

9

Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Fruity Sangria!
