📝 Instructions

13 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2

Wash the spinach thoroughly, drain, and roughly chop it. Set aside.

3

Dice the onion finely and mince the garlic.

4

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.

5

Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

6

Crumble the feta cheese into a mixing bowl. Add the spinach mixture, freshly chopped dill, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

7

Beat the egg lightly and stir it into the filling mixture to bind everything together.

8

Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface. Brush it lightly with melted butter, then place another sheet on top and brush it with butter as well.

9

Using a sharp knife, cut the stacked phyllo sheets into 4 equal strips lengthwise.

10

Place a heaping tablespoon of the spinach-feta mixture at one end of each strip. Fold one corner of the strip diagonally over the filling to form a triangular shape. Continue folding the strip in a triangular pattern until you reach the end. Repeat with the remaining phyllo sheets and filling.

11

Arrange the parcels on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with the remaining olive oil or melted butter for crispiness.

12

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the parcels are golden and crispy.

13

Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
