📝 Instructions

8 steps
1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.

2

While the pasta cooks, season the salmon fillet with a pinch of salt and pepper.

3

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon fillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through. Remove from the skillet, let it cool slightly, then flake it into bite-sized pieces using a fork.

4

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

5

Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce slightly thickens.

6

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet along with the reserved pasta water, flaked salmon, and chopped dill. Toss everything gently to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.

7

Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the pasta, and season with additional salt and black pepper to taste.

8

Serve immediately, garnished with extra dill or lemon zest, if desired.
