📝 Instructions

10 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2

Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions, drain them, and set aside.

3

In a large skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 4-5 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

4

Add the cream cheese to the skillet and stir until fully melted and combined. Remove from heat.

5

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked egg noodles, the melted cream cheese mixture, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to evenly coat the noodles.

6

Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and lightly brush it with melted butter. Layer a second sheet on top and repeat until you have 3 stacked sheets. Set aside and repeat with the remaining 3 sheets to form a second stack.

7

Evenly divide the noodle mixture between the two prepared stacks, spreading it along one side of each stack to form a log shape. Carefully roll each stack into a strudel, tucking in the edges as you go to seal the filling inside.

8

Place the strudels seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to create a golden crust.

9

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the phyllo dough is crispy and golden brown.

10

Allow the strudels to cool for 5 minutes before slicing into pieces. Serve warm and enjoy!
