With its crispy crust, tangy marinara, and cheesy goodness, this recipe is a foolproof way to bring Italian flair to your table.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season both sides of the minute steaks with salt and black pepper.
Set up a breading station using three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with eggs beaten with water, and the third with a mixture of breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
Dredge each minute steak in flour, shaking off any excess, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat evenly in the breadcrumb mixture. Set aside on a plate.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 2 breaded minute steaks and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking dish. Repeat with the remaining olive oil and minute steaks.
Spoon marinara sauce evenly over each cooked minute steak, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove the dish from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, and serve hot with your favorite pasta or a side salad.
