📝 Instructions

8 steps
1

Place each chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap. Using a meat mallet or rolling pin, pound the chicken to an even thickness of about 1/4 inch.

2

Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls. In the first bowl, combine the flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. In the second bowl, beat the eggs with milk. In the third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.

3

Coat each piece of chicken first in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess. Then dip it in the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, and finally coat it evenly with the breadcrumb mixture. Place the breaded chicken on a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes.

4

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, fry the chicken schnitzels for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate.

5

While the chicken is cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions until al dente. Drain the noodles.

6

In the same pot used for the noodles, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the cooked noodles and toss to coat. Stir in the chopped parsley and additional salt and pepper to taste.

7

Plate the schnitzels alongside the noodles. If desired, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the noodles for added flavor.

8

Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy chicken schnitzel with buttery herb noodles.
