📝 Instructions

8 steps
1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bow-tie pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

While the pasta is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

3

Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

4

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

5

Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, stirring to combine with the garlic. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over low heat.

6

Stir in the Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, remaining salt and pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Continue to stir for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

7

Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, along with the drained bow-tie pasta. Toss everything together until the pasta and shrimp are evenly coated in the sauce.

8

Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy!
