📝 Instructions

10 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

2

In a medium bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cream cheese, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger until smooth and well combined.

3

Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the puff pastry sheets. Cut each sheet into 8 equal squares for a total of 16 squares.

4

Place a heaping tablespoon of the pumpkin filling onto the center of 8 of the squares. Leave a small border around the edges.

5

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash.

6

Brush the edges of the pastry squares with the egg wash and cover each one with another square of puff pastry. Press the edges firmly together with a fork to seal.

7

Transfer the Pumpkin Puffs onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 1 inch apart, and brush the tops with egg wash.

8

Using a sharp knife, cut a small slit in the top of each puff to allow steam to escape during baking.

9

Bake in the preheated oven for 16-18 minutes or until the puffs are golden brown and flaky.

10

Remove from the oven and let the puffs cool slightly on a wire rack. Dust them with powdered sugar before serving.
