📝 Instructions

9 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

2

Place the ham in a large roasting pan, cut side down. If your ham comes with a glaze packet, discard it.

3

Using a small sharp knife, score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern by cutting shallow diagonal lines into the fatty layer.

4

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, brown sugar, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, ground black pepper, and ground cloves until the glaze is smooth and well combined.

5

Generously brush about half of the prepared glaze over the surface of the ham, making sure to get it into the scored cuts.

6

Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.

7

After 1 hour, remove the foil and baste the ham with more glaze. Continue baking uncovered, basting every 20 minutes with the remaining glaze, for another 1 hour or until the internal temperature of the ham reaches 140°F (60°C).

8

Once done, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.

9

Slice and serve the ham warm, drizzled with any extra glaze from the pan.
