Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks.
Place the potatoes in a large pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until tender. Drain and mash the potatoes in a large mixing bowl.
Add the diced ham, green onions, cheddar cheese, flour, egg, salt, and black pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix until well combined.
