📝 Instructions

5 steps
1

Add the flour, sugar, and salt to the bowl of a food processor. Pulse a few times to combine.

2

Add the cold, cubed butter to the food processor. Pulse 8-10 times, or until the butter is broken down into pea-sized pieces and the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3

Slowly drizzle in the ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, pulsing in between each addition. Stop adding water when the dough just begins to come together. You may not need all 6 tablespoons.

4

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide it into two equal portions, and shape each into a flat disk. Wrap each disk tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before rolling out.

5

Once chilled, roll out the dough as desired for your pie recipe. Use as directed for a single or double-crust pie.
