📝 Instructions

9 steps
1

Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the vegetable oil. Fry the bacon strips until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

2

In the same pan, reduce the heat slightly and add the butter. Crack the eggs into the pan and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Fry until the whites are set but the yolks remain slightly runny, about 3 minutes. Flip if you prefer fully cooked yolks. Remove from the pan and set aside.

3

Toast the three slices of bread until golden brown (use a toaster or stovetop). Allow them to cool slightly before assembly.

4

Slice the tomato into thin rounds and rinse the lettuce leaves. Pat dry with a paper towel.

5

Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise evenly over one side of each of the three slices of toasted bread.

6

Place one slice of bread, mayonnaise side up, on a flat surface. Lay 2 pieces of crispy bacon on top, followed by one fried egg. Add a lettuce leaf and a few tomato slices.

7

Place the second slice of bread on top, mayonnaise side down. Spread the remaining mayonnaise on the top side of the second bread slice. Layer the second fried egg, the remaining 2 bacon strips, another lettuce leaf, and a few more tomato slices.

8

Finish with the third slice of bread on top, mayonnaise side down. Press gently to secure the sandwich layers.

9

Use a sharp knife to slice the sandwich diagonally into two triangles. Serve immediately and enjoy!
