📝 Instructions

10 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Grease the parchment paper lightly.

2

In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter and 1 cup of the semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring in between until smooth. Let cool slightly.

3

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and slightly fluffy. Gradually pour in the melted chocolate mixture and whisk until well combined.

4

Sift the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt together in a separate bowl. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

5

Gently fold in the remaining 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 3/4 cup of the Skor toffee bits, reserving the remaining 1/4 cup of toffee bits and the milk chocolate chips for topping.

6

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula. Sprinkle the reserved Skor toffee bits and milk chocolate chips over the top.

7

Bake in the preheated oven for 28-32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake; the squares should remain fudgy.

8

Remove the pan from the oven and allow the squares to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

9

Once cooled, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the square block out of the pan. Slice into 16 squares and serve.

10

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for up to a week.
