📝 Instructions

9 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

2

Place the ham, cut-side down, in a large roasting pan. Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of the pan to prevent the ham from drying out.

3

In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, pineapple juice, apple cider vinegar, ground cinnamon, and ground cloves. Stir the mixture over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the glaze thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Set aside.

4

Using a sharp knife, score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern, cutting about 1/4 inch deep. This helps the glaze seep into the meat for added flavor.

5

Brush a generous amount of the glaze over the ham, making sure to get into the scored areas.

6

Tent the ham with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours.

7

After 1 1/2 hours, remove the foil and brush the ham with more glaze. Increase the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) and continue baking uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, basting with glaze every 10 minutes.

8

When the ham is done, it should have an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C) if precooked, or 145°F (63°C) if cooking from raw.

9

Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before carving. Serve warm and enjoy!
