Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
Grease a 9-inch pie dish or similar baking dish with butter and set aside.
Bring a medium pot of water to a boil and blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until theyβre tender but still bright green. Drain the broccoli well and pat dry with paper towels.
Spread the blanched broccoli evenly across the bottom of the greased dish.
Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and all the Parmesan cheese evenly over the broccoli in the dish.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well-combined.
Carefully pour the egg mixture over the broccoli and cheese layers in the dish.
Sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the quiche.
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the center and lightly golden on top.
Remove the quiche from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
