📝 Instructions

8 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, egg, and panko breadcrumbs. Mix until evenly combined, but do not overwork the meat.

3

Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into an oval loaf, about 4-5 inches long, and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.

4

Create a shallow indentation down the center of each loaf. Fill each indentation with a heaping tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese. Carefully press the meat around the cheese to seal it inside.

5

Bake the loaves in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

6

After 25 minutes, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each loaf. Return them to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the loaves reach an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).

7

Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

8

Serve the cheeseburger loaves as-is or on buns/dinner rolls with your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, pickles, or extra ketchup and mustard.
