πŸ“ Instructions

8 steps
1

In a large mixing bowl, flake the drained tuna with a fork, breaking up any large chunks.

2

Add the breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.

3

Mix all the ingredients together until well combined. The mixture should hold together when pressed; if it’s too dry, add a little more mayonnaise, one teaspoon at a time.

4

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions (or 6 smaller ones, if preferred) and shape each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.

5

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties into the skillet, being sure to leave space between them.

6

Cook the patties for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a spatula to flip them gently to avoid breaking them.

7

Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

8

Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce, salad, or as a filling for sandwiches.
