Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir in the instant coffee granules.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and egg until fully combined.
