📝 Instructions

10 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.

2

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the spinach and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat and set aside.

4

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, cream cheese, egg, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Mix thoroughly until smooth.

5

Stir the cooked spinach (making sure to drain any excess liquid) into the cheese mixture. Add the cooked spaghetti and toss until evenly coated.

6

Transfer half of the spaghetti mixture to the prepared casserole dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top.

7

Layer the remaining spaghetti mixture in the dish and finish with the remaining mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.

8

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

9

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

10

Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs, if desired, and enjoy!
