πŸ“ Instructions

9 steps
1

Pour the cold water into a small bowl and sprinkle the gelatin over it. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to allow the gelatin to bloom.

2

In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream and granulated sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the sugar has dissolved and the cream is heated through but not boiling.

3

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until it is completely dissolved. Add the vanilla extract and stir well.

4

Divide the panna cotta mixture evenly among four ramekins or serving glasses. Allow them to cool slightly, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

5

Meanwhile, prepare the berry sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the mixed berries, lemon juice, and powdered sugar.

6

Cook the berry mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the berries have broken down and the sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.

7

Remove the berry sauce from heat and let it cool completely before serving.

8

Once the panna cotta has set, run a small knife around the edge of each ramekin to help loosen the panna cotta, then gently unmold onto a serving plate or serve directly in glasses.

9

Spoon the berry sauce over the top of each panna cotta and serve chilled.
