- 1 cup strong brewed coffee
- 0.5 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 0.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 1 optional (as garnish) whipped cream
- 1 optional (drizzle as garnish) chocolate syrup
Instructions
Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and let it cool to room temperature or chill it in the refrigerator for faster preparation.
In a blender, combine the cooled coffee, milk, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
Add 2 cups of ice cubes to the blender and blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and frothy. This should take about 30–60 seconds depending on your blender.
