Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium-sized pot.
Add the black tea bags and the cinnamon stick to the pot, then reduce the heat to low and let it steep for 5 minutes.
While the tea is steeping, slice the orange into thin rounds, saving a few slices for garnishing if desired.
Remove the tea bags and cinnamon stick from the pot. Stir in the honey until dissolved.
Add the sliced orange to the hot tea and let it cool to room temperature, about 20-30 minutes.
Once cooled, fill a large pitcher with 2 cups of ice cubes. Pour the tea mixture over the ice and stir to chill it further.
Serve in glasses over additional ice cubes if desired. Garnish with a fresh orange slice and a mint leaf for a decorative touch.
