In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 3/4 cups of flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
Warm the milk until it is lukewarm (about 100-110Β°F), then stir it into the dry ingredients along with the melted butter and egg. Mix thoroughly.
Gradually add the remaining 1/4 cup of flour, kneading the dough until it is smooth and slightly sticky. Knead for about 8-10 minutes by hand or 5 minutes in a stand mixer with a dough hook.
Shape the dough into a ball, place it in a greased bowl, and cover with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Allow it to rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a large rectangle (approximately 12x18 inches) on a lightly floured surface.
Spread the Nutella evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
Starting from one of the longer sides, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal it and place the seam side down.
Slice the log into 12 equal pieces and place them cut-side up in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spacing them slightly apart.
Cover the rolls and allow them to rise again for 30 minutes, or until they are slightly puffed.
Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Once risen, bake the rolls for 16-18 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
Remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes before dusting them with powdered sugar.
Serve warm and enjoy!
