Ingredients

  • 2 cups Ripe papaya (peeled, seeded, and diced)
  • 2 teaspoons Mustard seeds

  • 1 cup Brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

Heat a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. Add the vegetable oil.

Once the oil is hot, add the mustard seeds and let them splutter for about 30 seconds.

Stir in the grated ginger, minced garlic, and chopped green chili. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
