Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt, plain
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp Lime zest
  • 2 tbsp Fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp Orange liqueur (optional)
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 2 cups Angel food cake, cubed
  • 2 cups Strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup Pineapple chunks, fresh or canned
  • 2 pcs Kiwi, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 12 pcs Bamboo skewers
  • 0.5 cup Graham crackers, crushed (optional garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy using a hand or stand mixer.

Step 2

Gradually add the powdered sugar, Greek yogurt, lime zest, lime juice, and orange liqueur (if using) to the cream cheese. Beat until well combined and smooth.

Step 3

Gently fold in the whipped cream using a spatula until the dip is light and fluffy. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Step 4

While the dip chills, prepare the fruit kebabs by threading a cube of angel food cake, a strawberry half, a pineapple chunk, and a piece of kiwi onto each bamboo skewer. Repeat until the skewer is full, leaving enough room at the bottom to hold.

Step 5

Repeat the skewering process for the remaining fruit and cake chunks, creating 12 kebabs in total.

Step 6

Spread the margarita dip into a serving bowl and, if desired, sprinkle crushed graham crackers around the edges for garnish.

Step 7

Serve the chilled Margarita Dip alongside the Strawberry Shortcake Fruit Kebabs. Dip the kebabs into the flavorful dip and enjoy!
