📝 Instructions

8 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a baking rack on top.

2

Cut the baby back ribs into individual bite-sized pieces by slicing between the bones. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

3

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this spice mixture evenly over the rib pieces.

4

Arrange the ribs on the prepared baking rack, meat-side up, ensuring they don't overlap. Cover tightly with foil to seal in moisture and bake for 75 minutes.

5

While the ribs are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and unsalted butter. Stir until the butter melts and the glaze thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

6

After 75 minutes, remove the foil from the ribs and increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C). Brush the ribs generously with the maple glaze on all sides.

7

Return the ribs to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes, turning and brushing with more glaze halfway through. This will give the ribs a sticky, caramelized finish.

8

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes. Serve warm with extra napkins, as they are delightfully messy and delicious!
