📝 Instructions

9 steps
1

In a small bowl, dissolve 2 teaspoons of gelatin powder in 30 ml of hot water for the coffee layer. Stir until fully dissolved.

2

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the brewed coffee and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then mix in the dissolved gelatin.

3

Pour the coffee mixture evenly into four small glasses or dessert cups, filling them halfway. Refrigerate for about 1-2 hours, or until set.

4

Once the coffee layer has set, prepare the milk layer. In a small bowl, dissolve 2 teaspoons of gelatin powder in 30 ml of hot water. Stir until fully dissolved.

5

In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the whole milk, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until the sugar dissolves but do not let the mixture boil.

6

Remove the milk mixture from heat and stir in the dissolved gelatin. Allow the milk mixture to cool slightly to room temperature.

7

Gently pour the milk mixture over the coffee jelly layer in each glass, filling the remaining space in the cups. Bring a spoon close to the surface while pouring to avoid disrupting the coffee layer.

8

Refrigerate the desserts for another 2-3 hours, or until the milk jelly layer is fully set.

9

Once set, garnish with a light dusting of cocoa powder, whipped cream, or a sprinkle of instant coffee (optional). Serve chilled and enjoy!
