In a medium bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour, sugar, and baking powder.
Gradually add the 150 ml of water and sesame oil to the dry ingredients, mixing until a smooth dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water, 1 tablespoon at a time.
Divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball.
Flatten each dough ball into a disk, and place a teaspoon of sweetened red bean paste in the center.
Carefully wrap the dough around the red bean paste, rolling it back into a smooth ball. Ensure that the filling is completely encased.
Spread the white sesame seeds on a plate. Roll each ball in the sesame seeds, pressing gently so the seeds adhere well.
In a deep pot or fryer, heat the oil to 160Β°C (320Β°F).
Fry the sesame balls in batches to avoid overcrowding, for about 5-6 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Serve the gluten-free sesame balls warm or at room temperature.
