📝 Instructions

11 steps
1

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, ground Italian sausage, and diced onion over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onions are tender. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

2

Drain any excess fat from the skillet, then stir in the marinara sauce, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes and set aside.

3

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and the egg. Mix until well blended.

4

Lightly grease the inside of a 6-quart crock pot with non-stick spray.

5

Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of the crock pot.

6

Break 3 lasagna noodles into pieces to fit and cover the sauce layer. Do not overlap the noodles.

7

Spread a layer of the ricotta mixture (about 1/3 of it) over the noodles. Then, add a layer of meat sauce (about 1/4 of it). Sprinkle a handful of the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

8

Repeat the layering process (noodles, ricotta mixture, meat sauce, mozzarella) two more times, ending with a final layer of meat sauce and mozzarella on top.

9

Cover the crock pot with its lid and set it to LOW. Cook for 4 hours or until the noodles are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

10

Once cooked, turn off the heat and let the lasagna rest in the crock pot for 15 minutes before serving.

11

Carefully slice and serve warm. Enjoy your easy Crock Pot Lasagna!
