📝 Instructions

9 steps
1

Line a mini muffin tin with 24 mini cupcake liners and set aside.

2

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

3

Using a teaspoon, spoon a small amount of the melted chocolate into the bottom of each cupcake liner, just enough to cover the base. Place the tin in the freezer for 5 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

4

While the chocolate sets, prepare the peanut butter mixture. In a medium bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

5

Remove the muffin tin from the freezer. Scoop about a teaspoon of the peanut butter mixture and gently roll it into small balls. Place one peanut butter ball over the chocolate layer in each cupcake liner and gently flatten it to fill the liner.

6

Pour another small spoonful of melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer in each liner, spreading gently to fully cover the peanut butter.

7

Immediately sprinkle a few pieces of chopped peanuts on top of the chocolate layer as a garnish.

8

Place the tin in the freezer for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the sweeties have fully set.

9

Once set, remove the Chocolate Peanut Sweeties from the liners and serve. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
