Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Roll them out slightly to smooth the edges, then cut each sheet into 4 equal squares, giving you 8 squares total.

Place about 20-25 grams (about 1.5 tablespoons) of chocolate chips in the center of each square.
