📝 Instructions

11 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2

Slice the tops off the garlic bulbs to expose the cloves slightly. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the garlic, wrap each bulb in foil, and roast in the oven for 30 minutes until the garlic is soft and golden.

3

While the garlic is roasting, season the chicken breasts with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, black pepper, and paprika.

4

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Sear the chicken breasts on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

5

In the same skillet, boil water and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

6

Remove the roasted garlic from the oven and allow it to cool slightly. Squeeze the soft garlic cloves out of their skins and set aside.

7

In the skillet, reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter. Add the roasted garlic, mashing it slightly with the back of a spoon.

8

Pour in the chicken stock and heavy cream, stirring well to combine. Simmer for 3-4 minutes to slightly thicken.

9

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and parsley. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

10

Slice the cooked chicken breasts into strips or cubes and add them back to the skillet. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce and mix until well coated.

11

Serve warm, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
