📝 Instructions

8 steps
1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

2

While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and black pepper.

3

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to rest for 5 minutes before slicing into bite-sized pieces.

4

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

5

Stir in the Caesar dressing and heavy cream, mixing well. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6

Add the grated Parmesan cheese and lemon juice to the sauce, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. If the sauce is too thick, stir in some of the reserved pasta water, a tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.

7

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it evenly in the sauce. Stir in the sliced chicken and allow everything to heat through for 1-2 minutes.

8

Serve the Chicken Caesar Pasta hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, if desired. Enjoy!
