📝 Instructions

12 steps
1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually add 250 ml of water and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, mixing until a dough forms.

2

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it's smooth and elastic. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

3

While the dough rests, prepare the filling. Grate or finely chop the onion and combine it with the ground beef in a bowl.

4

Add 1 teaspoon of salt, 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper, and 60 ml of water to the meat mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

5

Divide the rested dough into 8 equal parts. Roll each piece into a ball.

6

On a floured surface, roll each ball into a thin circle, approximately 20 cm in diameter.

7

Place 2-3 tablespoons of meat filling on one half of each circle, spreading evenly and leaving a border around the edge.

8

Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press the edges firmly with a fork to seal.

9

In a large frying pan or deep fryer, heat the 500 ml of vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 180°C (350°F).

10

Fry the chebureks in batches, about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and crispy.

11

Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

12

Serve hot and enjoy the crispy, juicy chebureks.
