📝 Instructions

12 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

2

Trim any excess fat or silver skin from the pork tenderloin and pat dry with a paper towel.

3

Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.

4

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.

5

Place the pork tenderloin in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Make sure the pork is well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes or up to 8 hours in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.

6

Heat the vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade (reserving the marinade for later) and sear it on all sides until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.

7

Transfer the skillet with the pork to the preheated oven and roast for 12-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 63°C (145°F).

8

While the pork is roasting, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer.

9

In a separate small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to form a slurry. Gradually whisk the slurry into the simmering sauce, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens into a glossy glaze. Remove from heat.

10

Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the oven and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

11

Brush the pork slices with the caramelised soy glaze and garnish with thinly sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

12

Serve immediately with your favorite sides, such as steamed rice or roasted vegetables.
