  • 12 oz Bow tie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 oz Grated Parmesan cheese

  • 0.5 tsp Dried basil

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bow tie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set the pasta aside.

While the pasta is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and the dried basil.

Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into bite-sized pieces.
