📝 Instructions

9 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2

Wash the tomatoes and cut off the tops. If necessary, slightly trim the bottom of each tomato to help them stand upright.

3

Using a spoon, gently scoop out the seeds and pulp from the inside of each tomato, leaving enough flesh for stability. Be careful not to puncture the sides.

4

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Mix well to create a moist filling.

5

Fill each hollowed tomato with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down gently to pack the filling.

6

Place the stuffed tomatoes on a baking dish and drizzle a little extra olive oil over the top of each one.

7

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the tomatoes are soft and the breadcrumb topping is golden and crispy.

8

Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.

9

Serve warm and enjoy!
