πŸ“ Instructions

12 steps
1

In a small saucepan, warm the almond milk over low heat until it is just lukewarm (not hot), around 100-110Β°F. Add the maple syrup and coconut oil, stirring until coconut oil is just melted. Remove from heat.

2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, and salt. Mix thoroughly.

3

Pour the lukewarm almond milk mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon until it forms a shaggy dough.

4

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8-10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Add additional flour if necessary, but the dough should be slightly sticky.

5

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning to coat all sides with oil. Cover with a clean towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

6

After the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Transfer the dough to a floured surface.

7

Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 12x15 inches. Evenly sprinkle the raisins and ground cinnamon over the dough.

8

Starting at one of the longer sides, roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the seam to seal it.

9

Using a sharp knife or dental floss, cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place each piece cut side up into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

10

Cover the rolls with a towel and allow them to rise for another 30 minutes or until puffy.

11

Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

12

Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
