πŸ“ Instructions

10 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, and sautΓ© for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.

3

Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Stir occasionally.

4

Transfer the cooked spinach mixture to a bowl and let it cool slightly. Once cool, mix in the crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, salt, and black pepper until fully combined.

5

On a clean surface, lay out one phyllo pastry sheet. Lightly brush the entire surface with melted butter and place another sheet on top, brushing it with butter as well. Repeat this process until you have a stack of three sheets.

6

Cut the stacked phyllo sheets into three equal strips lengthwise.

7

Place about a tablespoon of the spinach mixture at the bottom of one strip. Fold the corner of the strip over to form a triangle, encasing the filling. Continue folding in a triangle pattern up the length of the strip until fully wrapped. Repeat with the remaining strips and filling.

8

Place the spinach triangles onto the prepared baking tray, seam side down. Brush the tops with more melted butter.

9

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the triangles are golden brown and crispy.

10

Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your spinach triangles warm or at room temperature!
