πŸ“ Instructions

11 steps
1

Chop the shrimp into small pieces and place them in a medium-sized bowl.

2

Add the ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, chopped scallions, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper to the bowl with the shrimp.

3

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

4

Take a wonton wrapper and place it on a clean surface. Put about 1 teaspoon of the shrimp filling in the center of the wrapper.

5

Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with water using your finger.

6

Fold the wrapper over the filling, creating a triangle, and press the edges to seal.

7

Optionally, fold the two longer sides of the triangle together and pinch to seal, forming a traditional wonton shape.

8

Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.

9

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Gently drop the wontons into the boiling water in batches.

10

Cook the wontons for 4-5 minutes, until they float to the surface and the filling is cooked through.

11

Remove the wontons with a slotted spoon and serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.
