πŸ“ Instructions

10 steps
1

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

2

Remove the saucepan from heat and steep the 4 Red Zinger tea bags in the hot water for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and discard them after steeping.

3

Return the tea to medium heat and add the granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar completely dissolves.

4

Bring the mixture to a gentle boil and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.

5

Stir in the liquid pectin and lemon juice, then increase the heat to a rolling boil. Boil the mixture for 1 full minute, stirring constantly.

6

Remove the saucepan from heat and use a ladle to skim off any foam from the surface of the jelly mixture.

7

Carefully pour the hot jelly mixture into sterilized jars, leaving about 1/4 inch of headspace at the top. Wipe the jar rims clean, then seal with sterilized lids and rings.

8

Process the jars in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes to ensure proper sealing. Remove and let them cool at room temperature.

9

After cooling, check the seals by pressing the center of each lid. If the lid pops back, the jar has not sealed properly and should be refrigerated and consumed soon.

10

Store the sealed jars in a cool, dry place for up to 1 year. Opened jars should be refrigerated and used within 1 month.
