πŸ“ Instructions

8 steps
1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining. Set the pasta aside.

2

While the pasta cooks, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes on each side until just pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

3

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sautΓ© for 1 minute or until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

4

Increase the heat to medium-high and pour in the white wine. Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid reduces by half.

5

Lower the heat to medium and stir in the butter, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Once the butter has melted, return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat.

6

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, along with the reserved pasta water (a little at a time, if needed) to loosen the sauce. Toss everything together until well combined.

7

Stir in the chopped parsley and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, if necessary.

8

Serve immediately with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, extra parsley, and a wedge of lemon, if desired.
