πŸ“ Instructions

6 steps
1

Scoop 4 even-sized balls of vanilla ice cream and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze the ice cream balls for 1 hour or until they are very firm.

2

In a large ziplock bag, crush 1 cup of cornflakes cereal until they resemble coarse crumbs. Alternatively, pulse them in a food processor for a few seconds.

3

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the crushed cornflakes, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Stir frequently and toast the mixture for 4-5 minutes, until golden brown and fragrant. Remove from the skillet and let it cool completely.

4

Once the cornflake mixture has cooled, roll each frozen ice cream ball in the cornflake mixture, pressing gently to ensure an even coating. Repeat this step until all ice cream balls are fully coated.

5

Place the coated ice cream balls back onto the parchment paper and freeze for another 15-20 minutes to set the coating.

6

Serve the non-fried ice cream immediately, garnished with honey or chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and cherries if desired. Enjoy!
