📝 Instructions

7 steps
1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

2

Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess grease if necessary.

3

Pour the marinara sauce into the skillet with the cooked beef. Stir to combine, then simmer for 5 minutes over low heat. Remove from heat and set aside.

4

In a small bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

5

Preheat a large griddle or skillet over medium-high heat. Spread a thin layer of butter on the inside of each burger bun and place them, cut side down, on the griddle. Toast the buns until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

6

To assemble, spread a layer of the beef marinara mixture onto the bottom half of each toasted bun. Add a dollop of the ricotta cheese mixture on top, followed by a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese.

7

Place the top half of the bun over the cheese layer. Serve immediately, optionally with a side salad or extra marinara dipping sauce.
