With only 20 minutes of prep time and a short list of pantry staples, these Jello Fruit Bars are a family-friendly treat thatβs effortless yet impressive.
Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until the texture resembles wet sand.
Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Use a spatula or the bottom of a glass to press firmly.
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the gelatin mix in 2 cups of boiling water. Stir well until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
Add 1 cup of cold water to the gelatin mixture and stir to combine.
Set the gelatin mixture aside to cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes. Do not allow it to fully set.
Once the gelatin mixture has slightly cooled, gently fold in the chopped mixed fruits.
Pour the fruit and gelatin mixture over the cooled crust, spreading it out evenly.
Refrigerate the dish for at least 4 hours or until the gelatin is completely set.
Just before serving, spread a layer of whipped cream or whipped topping over the jello fruit layer.
Slice into bars, serve chilled, and enjoy!
