In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, chopped parsley, minced garlic, beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties about 3/4 inch thick.

Cook the burgers for 5-6 minutes on one side without disturbing them. Flip them carefully and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes on the other side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165Β°F (74Β°C).

During the last 2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of mozzarella cheese on each burger to melt. Cover the pan if needed to help the cheese melt evenly.

Toast the burger buns lightly, if desired.

To assemble the burgers, spread a spoonful of warmed marinara sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place the turkey patty on top, followed by fresh basil leaves. Add more marinara sauce if desired and cover with the top half of the bun.
