Begin by preparing all ingredients: seed and chop the red chillies and red bell peppers. Peel the garlic and ginger, then chop roughly. Wash the tomatoes if using cherry tomatoes, or roughly chop them if using regular tomatoes.

Place the red chillies, red bell peppers, garlic, ginger, and tomatoes into a food processor. Pulse until the mixture forms a chunky paste. Be careful not to over-process as a bit of texture is ideal.
