📝 Instructions

9 steps
1

In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet, drain on paper towels, and crumble. Set aside.

2

In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook over medium-high heat until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat and set the beef aside.

3

In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

4

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

5

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked bacon, ground beef, sautéed onion and garlic, baked beans, kidney beans, and pinto beans.

6

Add the brown sugar, ketchup, BBQ sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

7

Transfer the mixture to a large oven-safe dish or Dutch oven. Spread it out evenly.

8

Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes to thicken the sauce.

9

Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and serve warm. Enjoy as a hearty side dish or a main meal with cornbread or a crusty loaf of bread.
